Cumulative Effects and the Cumulative Effects Assessment Framework
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has developed a draft Cumulative Effects Assessment Framework for the Highway 413 Project. It is proposed that the Cumulative Effects Assessment (CEA) be carried out as part of the provincial Environmental Assessment (EA) process. The CEA will help shape the future of the Highway 413 Project by looking at how the specific, local effects of the project, in combination with other relevant activities, may impact the broader community.
A copy of the draft Cumulative Effects Assessment Framework is available for review and comment. We encourage you to read the draft Framework and provide your comments by accessing the contact us section of our website, where you can share your thoughts by email or phone. Your comments will be taken into consideration as the framework is finalized.
